In this case, our automatic order confirmation e-mail should not be considered final, for orders such as these, we will be in touch to confirm your order arrange payment to cover courier costs.

3. Delivery Times

We aim to fulfil all orders within 4 working days, most deliveries are fulfilled using a single vehicle so we aim to minimise wait times, as well as environmental impact when planning delivery routes.

4. Delivery Procedure Including Measures Relating to the Covid-19 Outbreak

The circumstances in which we find ourselves have led many businesses to alter the way the operate and we too will take every precaution we can to ensure the health and safety of our customers is not compromised. As such we have set out the following procedure to mitigate any risk to our customers and ourselves, as well as those we work with.

  • Once customers have placed an order with us using our online shop, they can expect to receive their delivery within a maximum of 4 working days, where working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and exclude bank holidays.
  • In some cases, we may found that stock of a certain product has been depleted, or the quantity requested exceeds our stock level. In this case, we will contact the customer to provide further options. In general there will be two options: we can substitute the product in question with an equivalent or slightly higher priced item, or we can make all or part of the delivery when stock is replenished.
  • At the checkout stage, customers have the option to provide instructions for delivery, where possible we will always try to see that the delivery is handed over to the customer, if not we will fulfil the delivery instructions where possible (e.g a request to leave a delivery in a specific location).
  • We may require valid proof of age before we hand over any delivery to a person at the address.
  • Any requests to leave a delivery unattended will be taken as authorisation to do so.
  • Requesting a delivery be left un-attended is done so at the customer’s own risk, therefore we cannot accept liability for any loss or damage sustained contents of parcel after it’s delivery.
  • A photographic record showing the place and state in which we left the items will be made of any deliveries not directly received by a resident.
  • If we are concerned about the security of a product if it were to be left, we may in rare cases withhold the items and attempt to re-arrange delivery.
  • Common touch points such as the steering wheel and gear stick in our vehicle are cleaned regularly, of course we will also adhere to strict, frequent hand-washing
  • Upon arrival, we will seek to remove any contact between ourselves and our customers. We will set  the delivery down near a door, then ring the doorbell, knock, or call the customer to let them know the parcel has arrived. We will then stand at least 2 metres away from the door in order to ensure the delivery is safely received by the customer. If you're happy for us to leave a delivery unattended, we will need you to let us know in writing either in the notes section of checkout on the website, by e-mail or by text.
  • If we have not received authorisation, in writing, to leave a parcel un-attended, we will hold on to the delivery and attempt to arrange another delivery day.
  • We are not able to enter any property to help with moving heavy parcels.
  • Currently, local delivery is fulfilled by ourselves, however where a courier service is used we will seek to ensure that they are following strict guidelines such as ourselves- we will make their policy available to customers upon request.

5. Returns

As we currently fulfil deliveries ourselves, we will always ensure products aren’t damaged prior to delivery.

If we find that a product has become damaged during our delivery, we will attempt to find a replacement before completing the delivery. If you find the contents of your order is incorrect, we will of course, pick up the items and correct them.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

6. Depleted Stock

In some cases we may find we have run out of a certain product, or have too little stock to provide the quantity ordered, if this happens we will seek to offer an appropriate substitute of equal or reasonable higher value without any additional cost to the customer. If we are not able to contact the customer prior to making the delivery, we will replace the item with the most similar product we have and the customer shall be given the option to switch. We can also delay all or part of the delivery until we have the item in stock.

This information is under constant review, we therefore reserve the right to change these policies at any time and retract offers at any time without prior notice.
